ABIT BD7-II RAID i845E Review (1)

ABIT has always been an innovative mainboard manufacturer. Today we review the latest i845E board from ABIT - BD7-II RAID.   ABIT BD7-II RAID features the latest i845E chipset which supports 400/533Mhz System data bus for Intel Pentium 4 up to 2.53G. It has 3 DDR slots for memory expansion. A 6 channel audio chipset is also available. On top of that, there is also a 10/100 LAN port for immediate connection to broadband or company network. It also comes with ATA-133 RAID 0/1/0+1 supported by HPT 372 chipset.

ABIT's SoftMenu III is in the BIOS which allows you to overclock the board. There are the FSB adjustments, vcore, vdimm. On top of that, this is the first board that we found (within BIOS) to support the unofficial DDR354 async mode.
