Memory Benchmarks

SiSoft Sandra 2002

The infamous SiSoft Sandra 2002 is used to test out the memory benchmarks. All the systems are tweak to it's maximum possible settings of Cas 2, 2-2-5. We managed to run the ABIT BD7-II at DDR354 mode with RAM timings set to SPD.

From the benchmarks, it can be clearly seen that the i845E boards scores close to one another when it's running at DDR266 Cas 2,2-2-5 mode. The interesting comparison would be ABIT BD7-II RAID running at Async 354 mode, it overtook all the chipsets as the champion of all. Well, in the next few benchmarks, we shall see whether this increase in memory benchmarks will makes a lot of difference in the results of applications and games.
