ASUS P4S8X SiS648 Mainboard Gallery (4)
Overclocker 23 Aug 2002

In the BIOS, it is possible to set the CPU Speed as Auto or Manual. In Manual mode, you can choose the CPU External frequency. In this BIOS we used 1002 dtd 18 Aug 2002, we are only allowed to increase the FSB up to 166mhz. Memory Frequency is where you select whether you want to run sync DDR266, async DDR333 or the unofficial DDR400 mode (if P4 400mhz cpus, DDR266 is considered as async mode)

CPU Vcore, AGP and DDR voltages are all adjustable

CPU Vcore : 1.500 ~ 1.800v at 0.025v increments
AGP Voltage : 1.5v ~ 1.7v at 0.1v increments
DDR Voltage : 2.5v ~ 2.7v at 0.1v increments

SDRAM Configuration should be set to SPD if you're not into overclocking. For those who want to test the limit, i would usually set it to CAS 2, 2-2-5 (RAS to CAS delay, Precharge, Active Time). Although Active Time can be set to 4T, setting it to 4T results in no POST. Chipset clock mode can beset to performance, async or sync. In our test, we set it to Performance. SDRAM command Rate 1T or 2T is selectable. AGP Aperture is set to 128M for all our boards in the shootout test.
