ECS L7VMM mATX mainboard Review (1)
cwloo 18 Jul 2002

We got the ECS L7VMM motherboard last week for review. It is a micro ATX motherboard that uses the KM266 north bridge & VT8233A south bridge which bring integrated Savage 8 2D/3D graphics accelerator and ATA 133 to a low cost solution.

ECS L7VMM has fairly standard feature build on board which include integrate graphic, sound & 10/100 Realtek Lan. This setup should be more than enough for normal small office desktop however we would love to see a USB 2.0 build onboard.

How does the ECS L7VMM or the KM266 compare with the Shuttle SS40 which uses the SIS 740 chipset when it comes to integrate graphic performance? Let’s find out later in the benchmark.
