EPoX 8K3A+ Gallery (1)
Overclocker 10 March 2002

The mainboard looks very similar to the EPoX 8KHA+. This retail edition of the EPoX 8KHA+ uses a new 6 channel audio chip ALC650 instead of the old ALC201A. The modem1 connector is also removed and a SPDIF connector is added.

A smaller Diagnostic LED is positioned next to the Highpoint HPT372 which provided ATA-133 RAID function. The RAID ports are RED in colour. The Blue IDE connectors are the usual ATA-133 IDE interface.

6 PCI slots and a AGP slot. The jumper right next to the AGP Slot is for setting the base frequency of 100 or 133Mhz.

The power connector is parallel to the mosfets, another 3 can be found underneath the board.

3 DIMM slots supporting up to 3GB of DDR RAM. The chipset is a week 7 CE stepping of the KT333 chipset.
