Gigabyte AP128DG-H ATi Radeon8500 128MB Review (1)
Overclocker 24 Jul 2002

As more and more manufacturers comes out with newer chipsets, we see new variations of cards evolved. One of the probably important upgrade is the on board VRAM. Gigabyte AP128DG-H is such an example of an "upgraded" version of the earlier AP64G-H card we reviewed a couple of months ago.

Since we have already reviewed the Gigabyte AP64G-H before, we will not go into much details in this review. Rather we will focus on the performance levels of this new card as compared to the older AP64D-H. Other than the difference in the VRAM of 128MB, the heatsink used is also smaller.

Let's take a look at the gallery of the AP128DG-H on the next few pages and followed by the benchmarks.
