Vantec Nexus Multi-function Panel NXP101 (1)
Overclocker 25 Dec 2002

Heat, Noise, High temperatures from your PC ? Well that is a norm isn't it. Sometimes you would ask, how should I go about monitoring all this to prevent overheating and to reduce that noise coming from your $1000 PC ? Vantec has a solution for you and it is their multi function panel NXP101.

NXP101 has a few capabilities that would definitely fits the bill. As an independent device, it is able to monitor 3 temperatures using probes attached to your CPU (near it), Hard disk and system temperature. It also has a well lit LCD display panel which shows your real time temperature and fan speed. There is also an audio alarm warning if your system overheats. Another plus point is that you can control the CPU fan speed to reduce the noise generated by the CPU fan.

On top of these features, it also comes with 2 USB Ports and 1 IEEE1394 (Firewire) Port that enables you to bring those messy USB and Firewire connections to and end as you can now attach your USB devices directly at the front.
