ABIT KV8 Max 3 VIA K8T800 Athlon 64 Socket 754 Mainboard Gallery (4)
Bluetooth 20 Oct 2003

SoftMenu III is available, and by default, it was set to 204MHz if you press F8 to OC on the fly. In our test, we set CPU FSB to 200.

There is no option MAXMEMCLK to run CPU:MEM at Async settings.

CPU frequency can be set from 200 ~ 300MHz. Do notice that the BIOS does not cater for FIX PCI/AGP. It seems to operate based on a divider which increases the PCI to 38MHz before lowering it down to 33MHz. We menaged 223MHz during oc test. 226 POSTs but unstable.

e.g. at 232MHz, PCI= 38 AGP= 76
at 233MHz, PCI = 33, AGP= 66

There is a multiplier control. Although you can select it, there is no way you can change the multiplier. I am not sure if future BIOS will have that enabled. The current BIOS does not. CPU Vcore Voltage selection is a bit different as it offers up to 350 steppings!! At the maximum, you can reach VID + 350mV = 1.85V.
AGP Voltage is selectable from 1.50v ~ 1.65v DDR Voltage can be chosen from 2.50v to 3.20v
There is something that most boards don't offer. ABIT K8VMax3 allows you to set the Hypertransport voltage up to 1.40v In our tests, we set it to operate in CAS 2, 5-2-2.

LDT bus freq is 800Mhz and Up/DownStream are 16 bits bus width
