In collaboration with Analog Devices Inc., ASUS AI Series motherboards integrate
AD1985 6-channel CODEC, which together with SoundMAX 4 software installed is the
world’s first audio system to implement Audio ESP™ (Enumeration & Sensing
Process) technology. We call it “AI Audio”. It’s also the world’s first 100%
AC’97 2.3 compliant CODEC.
The AI feature intelligently detects I/O events, identifies peripherals
involved, and reminds end users to correct inappropriate connections
