  ECS L7S7A2 SiS 746 Mainboard Gallery (3)
Overclocker 31 Jan 2002

The L7S7A2 is based on the AMI BIOS dated 22 Jan 2003. Does the interface looks familiar for those who are using the ECS K7 boards?

The screen below shows some of the features of this board and they include RTC Alarm and other power management functions.

L7S7A2 breaks through ECS's tradition by bringing in 1Mhz FSB (100~200) steppings, vcore and vdimm adjustments within BIOS (multiplier can be set via jumper on mainboard).

Vcore : +1%, +3%, +5%
DDR Vcc : +0.8, +2.7%, +3.5%

DRAM Timing : Safe, Normal, Fast, Turbo, Ultra
DDR CAS Latency : 2, 2.5, 3

In our tests of AXP 2700+, we set it to Ultra CAS 2, default voltage.

Various options available for setting the cpu fsb : ram ratio. to run sync set it to 1:1. Async settings available are listed below. e.g. if you run a AXP 2700+ (333), to run sync select 1:1, to run async DDR400, set it at 5:6.
