First look
DFI Lanparty boards
has always been well sought after as it promises very impressive overclocking
options. Today, we have the opportunity to test out this new board from DFI - LP
UT nF3-250Gb.
This new board is is
based on the Nvidia NF3-250Gb chipset. As we know. the nF3-250gb appeals to
overclockers as it offers a FIX AGP to 66 or a fix AGP freq. This allows one to
overclock the FSB without affecting the stability as it does not use a divider
on other chipsets.
Some of the amazing
OC settings include a wide range of FSB of up to 456MHz, multiplier control to
20x, large range of Async settings, Vdimm up to 3.1v, chipset up to 1.8v, Vcore
up to 1.55v X 136% = 2.1v
On top of the nice
overclocking options available and large range of voltages for various options
it offers built in Firewall by virtue of the NF3-250GB chipset. It also
incorporates the Marvell 88E1111 GbE PHY 10/100/1000BASE-T IEEE 802.3 compliant.
There is also IEEE 1394 (optional) supported by VIA VT6307 controller
supporting 2 x 100/200/400 Mb/sec ports
The board also
supports two IDE connectors support four UltraDMA 133Mbps hard drives. NVIDIA
RAID supports spanning across Serial ATA and Parallel ATA RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID
0+1 and JBOD. The SATA also comes with RAID and supports up to four SATA
interfaces with speed up to 1.5Gbps

NVIDIA RAID also supports spanning across Serial ATA and Parallel ATA

The board also uses the Realtek ALC850 8ch audio codec with S/PDIF-inout
interface for the best gaming experience.
Package
The package comes with the UV IDE
cables, floppy cable and SATA cables. A manual, CDROM with drivers and a
diskette with RAID driver is provided.
FrontX in the previous is absent in
this new series of Lanparty package.
