Introduction Who would ever thought of a Gigabyte Heatsink/Cooler. Well, year 2004 is a surprise for everyone as Gigabyte releases its first Cooler-Pro series of heatsinks. Packed in a small plastic box, the cooler comes with various clips for K7, K8 and P4. This is really good news for overclockers who plays with lots of K7, K8 and P4 boards. One heatsink with multiple clips to support all platforms available..
The package comes with the 3 different type of clips for various platforms, power connectors for the heatsink, screws, thermal paste (1 tube) and a speed knob that can control the fan speed of the heatsink from 2000 to 4000 RPM.
![]() What makes this heatsink different from others is that it uses a Central-Blower which cools the core with a double inlet from top & bottom. Next is its 360 ° Cooling Architecture which helps to cool other components around the CPU as well. On top of that, it
uses a 4 way heat pipe technology and has a unique patent for P4 & K8,K7
