The GO-W1608A is the latest offering by Gigabyte which offers support of 16x DVD±R disc and Dual Layer disc of up to 8.ith this in mind, we needed a drive that is able to burn steadily yet fast enough to be used as a back up device and allow us to make backup copies of our favourite DVD discs up to 8.54G of data.
Gigabyte GO-W1608A leverages on its W0808A series and upgraded its support to 16X DVD+R writing, 8X DVD-R writing and 2.4X DVD+R (DL) writing. Below are the reading and writing speeds of various media.
