Motorola V80 TriBand Mobile Phone w/Camera (1)
Bluetooth 8 Aug 2004

Motorola V80

A fortnight ago, we looked at the Motorola E398 and was quite impressed with its functionalities. Today, we will check out its big brother V80. The V80 is a stylish phone targetting those who goes after fashion. It has a rotatable front panel which can be set at 180 Deg or 90 Deg to the keypad. When the phone rings, its rhythm lights will definitely capture everyone's attention. The phone, just likes E398 comes with GSM 900/1800/1900+GPRS. support. The familiar icon based interface is easy to navigate using the green joystick located at the top of the phone (when closed). The package includes a bluetooth ear piece.

This phone has ~6.5MB of internal memory shared among your pictures and MP3 files. Although this phone is priced higher than the E398, V80 does not come with an expansion slot supporting Transflash. Bluetooth is built in for you to transfer ringtones and images to and fro from  your BT equipped PC or devices. The phone also comes with MP3 and MIDI ringtone and playback. There is also a built in camera with 4x Digital zoom and auto timed. There is a Motomixer which you can mix your own ringtone and you can playback 3GPP videos but it didn't come with video recording function.
