Samsung E600 Triband GSM 900/1800/1900 Camera
Phone Review (1)
We reviewed the S300 last year and was quite impressed by its small footprint. This year, Samsung launches another phone E600, which in fact resembles the S300. In fact, most of the functions are quite similar to the old S300 with the inclusion of MMS and VGA camera capabilities and an improved 64 chord MMF based ringtone.
The E600 has the conventional Samsung interface with a flip page menu. It has a display of 128 x 128 pixels which is somewhat a bit small for GPRS usage. The phone comes with 16 bits colour screen and looks vibrant under normal lighting conditions. It has a dimension of 82 x 41.8 x 23.5 mm and weighs 85g.
The E600 has a memory of 11MB and has no expansion capability. The storage can be used for ringtones, images and java games. K500i comes with a max talktime of 7 hrs and a standby time of 150hrs. The packages comes with 2 batteries which comes handy if battery runs out. Ringtones supported format is 64 chord MMF. Video Recording is supported in MJPG format. Java is also supported and you can install your favourite 3D games via GPRS. No data cable and CDROM is provided in the pacakge.
