Samsung Electronics, the world leader in digital technology, today unveiled two
latest additions to its mobile phones range - the small but mighty 3G-enabled
SGH-Z500 and the mobile multimedia marvel SGH-E730 - to charm fun life seekers
keen to adopt the latest technology to enhance their lifestyles and wellness.
Mr. Ng Long Shyang, Director, Sales & Marketing, Telecoms and PC Peripherals,
Samsung Asia Pte Ltd, said, “The dynamics of the mobile phone industry are

Some of Samsung’s new range of mobile phones will also be enhanced with Silver
Nano technology, including the Samsung SGH-E730. First unveiled to the region in

well-being.

Samsung’s – and the world’s – small 3G wonder. At 89 x 44.5 x 24.5 mm, the
SGH-Z500 is the world’s smallest 3G-enabled mobile phone, featuring the latest
in imaging, music and video functionalities in a slim and polished design.
o 3G functionality – the SGH-Z500 offers extremely consumer-friendly 3G
features, including video telephony, video streaming and video messaging.
o Music specifications – the range of specifications includes a digital power
amp, 64-chord polyphonic ring tones, an MP3 player, AAC and AAC+ player.
o Camera and video specifications – these comprise dual camera – a mega-pixel
and VGA camera – for video conferencing, MPEG4 recording and two times digital
zoom.
o Advanced data-related capability – the SGH-Z500 features Bluetooth, email /
syncML / USB, external TransFlash memory and 50 MB internal memory.

Music to your ears – the SGH-E730C provides easy access to audio, open or closed
with distinctive external music keys that accentuate the design and lets you
instantly play, rewind or fast forward your stored MP3 and ACC audio files, or
tune in to Stereo FM Radio at the touch of a button. You can even control the
sound without flipping open your mobile phone.
o Mobile multimedia – the integrated 1.3 mega-pixel flash-LED camera with four
times digital zoom lets you create, edit and share photographs or film, and
export direct to printers via wireless with Bluetooth. You can also listen to
music from MP3, AAC or Stereo FM Radio instantly with external music hot keys,
set your favorite music or voice recordings as ring tones.
o Camera – the 1.3 mega pixel CMOS camera takes pictures with sharp contrast,
precise lines and bright colors to redefine mobile phone photography. It
