In order to compare the performance
7600GS AGP to a PCIE version, we underclocked a GeForce 7600 GT board to GeForce
7600 GS levels. It’s not quite the same as having a real GeForce 7600 GS PCIE as
there could be latencies differences between GDDR 2 and GDDR 3 memory but it’s
quite close. Surprising the 7600GS AGP is faster than our simulated 7600GS PCIE.
