Introduction
Continuing
the success of the popular ConRoe945G-DVI mainboard, ASRock leads the market
with the first Intel 945G integrated graphics mainboard that supports HDCP
with DVI-D interface.
This new board ConRoe1333-DVI/H
improves on the ConRoe945G-DVI. This new board supports the Dual Core 2
Extreme/Core 2 Duo/ Pentium D/ Pentium 4 / Celeron D with FSB 1333/1066/800/533
MHz except Quad Core processor. It also supports HyperThreading, EMT64T CPU and
United overclocking technology.
For DDR2 memory, it supports
Dual Channel DDRII667/533 x 4 DIMM slots with max. capacity up to 4GB. As 945G
is an integrated graphics chipset, it comes with Intel® Graphics
Media Accelerator 950, Pixel Shader 2.0, DirectX 9.0 and Max. shared memory
224MB. The board also comes with 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, 1 x PCI Express x1
slot and 1 HDMR slot.
For those who wish to playback
HD protected contents, the board comes with free with an add on card. This card
is similar to the DVI graphics-SI card with the ConRoe945G-DVI except that it
now supports HDCP. With this card installed, you can have Dual VGA output
supporting the onboard D-SUB and DVI-D on the DVI Graphics-HDCP card. Do take
note that you would need a HDCP compliant LCD TV to display the contents.
On top of all these,
ConRoe1333-DVI/H comes with Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/s, 4 SATA II 3.0Gb/s
connectors, 7.1 Ch Vista™ Premium level HD Audio (ALC888 Audio Codec). The board
is Windows® Vista™ Premium 2007 Logo Hardware Ready. For those who
wants to have some o/c, as usual, the board comes with Hybrid Booster - Safe
Overclocking Technology and the Untied Overclocking : During Overclocking that
allows higher FSB due to fixed PCIE/ PCI Buses.
One thing to note is that
FSB1333 CPU will operate in oc mode. That is to say, the PCIe bus wlil have to
be set to run in SYNC and it will actually be overclocked to 115MHz.
