CFAA Customisable Filter  & Tesselation

In HD Radeon 2000 Series, ATi introduces CFAA, a customisable filter for Anti Aliasing. Instead of relying on the simple box filter, it introduces the narrow tent and wide tent filter. This reduces the reliance of sofware restrictions of pixel boundaries and fixed weights.

Sampling can go beyond the stipulated boundary to give a better estimation to generate better edges that looks smoother than before.

Dynamic Geometry Acceleration can be delivered through the dedicated tesselation hardware and the high speed 480GFLOPS on ht Radeon HD 2900.

The Dedicated tessellation hardware which is included across the Radeon 2000 Series provides a fully prorgammable architecture to speed up rednering by allowing developers to provide data to GPU at corarser resolution.
