Introduction

The ATI Radeon™ HD 2400XT is a feature-rich upgrade from integrated graphics for an immersive experience with DirectX® 10 gaming and HD video. Connect to big-screen TVs with HDMI port and built-in 5.1 surround sound audio to enjoy Blu-ray™ and HD DVD movies instantly. ATI Catalyst™ graphics configuration software is designed for quick setup and stable operation with Windows Vista™.

The GeCube HD24XTL2-D3 is designed based on ATI Radeon HD2400XT series. It comes with an onboard memory of 256MB DDR3. It supports the Unified Superscalar Shader Architecture built-in 120 stream processing units. It supports DX10 and VISTA. The GPU clk of this card is default at 700/750.

Although 2400XT is not as powerful as the 2600XT or 2900XT, it inherits the best of its video capabilities. Something that NVIDIA failed is that built-in HDMI native support for HD video with multi-channel (5.1) support. This allows audio to be channeled to external HDMI capable TV without messy cabling within.

With Hardware processing UVD (unviversal Video Decoder) delivers sharp images and vibrant color fidelity with 1080p/i playback of Blu-ray and HD DVDs at low CPU utilisation. The Dual DVI display port supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 (single-link DVI) or 2560x1600 (dual-link DVI, HDCP).

Pricing information can be found on the top of this page. ~ 99USD.
