AMD 690G boards are usually in the mATX form factor. Gigabyte sees that it could do more if it is a ATX board, giving users more value. Indeed, this is the only board (based on AMD 690G) that spots a PCIex4 and PCIe x16 on the same board and supports CrossFire.

On further inspection of the board, we see that the board comes with another 2 PCI and 3 PCIe x1 slots. Behind the slots are the codec and GbE PHY. The TV-out connector is the one in green. It can be hooked up to the provided bracket for component and s-video out. A 3 phase power design is spotted. To its right is the 4 pin aux power.

At the bottom left, we can see the 1394 and USB external connectors, 4 SATA II ports with RAID 0,1,0+1 support, 1 and 1 channel of IDE supported by the SB600.

At the centre, we can see the CLK gen, there is also a 4 pin AUX for power connector on the right hand side of the board. The board uses a . On its right is a 3 phase design. To the right are 4 DIMM slots coded in yellow and red. The 24 pin power connector is rihgt below.

The back panel consists of PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, 4 USB ports, 1 D-SUB, 1 x GbE LAN port, 1 HDMI, 1 1394 and 8 ch audio ports. There is also a S/PDIF digital out.
