Introduction

Jetway expands its range of AM2 boards with the introduction of the Jetway M2T-89VP mainboard. Jetway M2T-89VP mainboard is based on the VIA K8T890 chipset.

This entry level board supports the AM2 940pin Dual core 64 x2 processor and Sempron processors. It supports up to 8GB of DDR2-800 on board. Graphics expansion wise, it has 1 PCIex16, 1 PCIex1 and 4 PCI slots.

The board has 2 PCI IDE controller supporting ATA133 devices. There are also 2 SATA 1 supporting RAID 0 and 1. There is only Fast Ethernet on board and Realtek 6Ch audio.

Although the function seems plain, the BIOS has some nice options for you to tweak the board. That includes the Vcore 7phase adjustments. See page 4 for more details.
