BlackBerry 8520

Forget about touch screen phone when it comes to SMS texting or emails. BlackBerry has always been the choice for push mail and texting using a QWERTY keyboard. To bring the whole experience to more users, BlackBerry 8520 introduces BlackBerry's entry level Smartphone, the BlackBerry 8520.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a traditional keyboard entry phone. Although it is a texting phone, it comes with a touch sensitive trackpad for easy maneuvering through the menus. It is also the first BlackBerry® smartphone to feature dedicated media keys, which are smoothly integrated along the top of the handset giving customers an easy, convenient way to control their music and videos.

The BlackBerry 8520 comes preinstalled with social networking tools like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. With the WiFi or GPRS access, you can be 24 hrs connected to the network. Moreover, you can configure the settings, whenever you receive a new twit or facebook status updates, the phone will alert you.

The phone comes with 256MB Flash memory and a 512Mhz next generation processor for enhanced performance. It also has voice activated dialing and bluetooth for car kits, stereo headsets etc.

For multimedia users, there is a 2 MP digital camera with zoom and video recording. For music playback there is a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Expandable memory via hot swappable microSD/SDHC memory card slot, supporting up to 16 GB cards today and expected to support next generation 32GB cards when available; a 2GB card is included
