The event targets the young, inline with the customisable faceplates of the new HTC Tattoo (see video).

HTC Tattoo

Breathe a Bit of You Into Your Phone

• An Epitome of You, Inside And Out
The HTC Tattoo is the first HTC phone that can be customised inside and out. You can decide how your phone looks, then decide what you want to look at. When you’re done customising HTC Tattoo, you’ll have a phone that speaks loudly about who you are and what you’re into. With its distinct design and ability to personalise all aspects of the phone, from its hardware to its applications and content, users are able to express themselves and create their own individual mobile experience.

• Shape and Form
106mm (L) X 55.2mm (W) X 14mm (T), Weight: 113 grams (with battery)

• Ink Your Style
Make a statement to your distinctive style with interchangeable covers and customisation possibilities. With HTC Tattoo, you don’t just pick the look; you make the look by designing your own personal skin for the phone. A splash of your style and your personality will make the Tattoo uniquely yours.

• Making Sense To Art
HTC Tattoo takes you on a whole new level of mobile experience with the three pillars of HTC Sense.

Make It Mine
The beauty of the HTC Tattoo is that not only do you get to make it yours on the outside but also decide what really matters to you on the inside. Dictate and organise how you want to access the people and content in your life in a way that fits you best. So if you’re into chatting, texting, and tweeting, put all your communication widgets and apps right on your front screen. If you’re into games, visit the Android Market and download all the games you want. All these made possible with Scenes that lets you create and save different screen arrangements for different shades of your life.

Stay Close
Be connected with your loved ones simply in a single view. HTC Sense ingeniously integrates all communication channels and applications to introduce a simple and fuss-free way for you to stay close to the people in your life. Keep your social interaction up to date with easy access to friends’ Facebook status and photo updates, text messages, emails and call history. You can even send messages or emails to your contacts in groups.

Discover the Unexpected

Sometimes there are no words to describe the cool surprises that happen in your life. Even basic functions like the dialer will make you smile on the HTC Tattoo. You can simply find a friend by dialing their phone number or by dialing their name. If you’re a music aficionado, you’ll love how you can organise all your tunes by album, artist or playlists. And if you’re a photo fan, you’ll rave about the fact that your album is not just the photos saved on your phone but also a gateway to online collections of you and your friends on Facebook or Flickr.

• One Search Function
The dedicated Search button provides a quick, effective, and consistent way for users to search across multiple sources — such as browser bookmarks & history, contacts, and the web. How much easier can it get?

• An Intelligent Piece of Art
Aside from letting you take the free rein in customising its looks inside out, it also packs quite an impressive plethora of hardware features within its arty chassis. With a GPS, digital compass, gravity sensor, FM radio, 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a 3.2 mega pixel camera and expandable microSD™ memory, HTC Tattoo effortlessly marries performance with style.
