Samsung Corby Pro

The Corby Pro is another phone under the Corby series. Doing away with the tiny screen, this phone comes with a TouchWiz and a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

We can see the bright colour scheme used on the Corby Pro. It blends in a red keypad with white cover plate at the back. From the looks of it, this phone looks rather slim on the side.

This phone can operate through touch screen with it's 2.8" TFT display. It also supports TouchWiz and One touch zoom just like Samsung Jet. With it's high speed connectivity of HSDPA 7,2mbps, this phone is definitely higher in specifications compared to the Corby TXT. It has a 3 megapixel CMOS Camera, FM radio (RDS), WIFI, BT, USB 2.0, etc.

For those who prefer to use the keyboard, the QWERTY provides easy email and SMSing. With it, updating MySpace or Facebook is easier as these applications are already pre built into the phone. The phone also support push mail services and threaded SMS.

We did a test on the phone and found the TouchWiz is quite intuitive. Messaging via the keyboard is also simpler as I prefer text input than writing on a screen.

If you do not need a Windows Mobile 6.5 Omnia Pro B7320, this phone could be a good consideration. It runs on proprietary Samsung OS.
