ASRock Vision 3D-BD, will u get one?
Vision 3D-BD
Are you looking for small footprint device as your media centre in your living room. The ASRock Vision 3D-BD might be an excellent choice. Based on Intel core Architecture Mobile processor running on Intel HM55 chipset, it definitely outperforms the previous generation ION 330HT-BD system we reviewed before. In terms of specs wise, this box is capable of 3D vision by virtue of NVIDIA GeFOrec 300/400 series graphcis within. Other than that, this board uses DDR3-1066, 2 x SO DIMM supporting up to 8 GB of RAM. It uses a 2.5″ HDD and comes with BD Combo drive. In terms of audio, it has a 7.1ch HD audio with THX trustudio pro. Gigabit LAN is onboard for faster conenctions to files on other servers. The box also comes with HDMI, DVI-I, USB 2.0, card reader, esata ports etc. a MCE remote controller is also equipped. It has a dimension of 200 x 70 x 200 (mm) and a volume of 2.8L. Comments (0) |
Oh yes I want one :-)
Yes, I'm looking forward to the ASRock Vision 3D-BD however I wonder when it is released on the European market. It should enter in July, but up to now there has not been any signs of this device.
I hope it is at least released with an Intel Core i5 520M or better. If you know anything about release date or processor specs please reply! :-) Thanks in advance! |
No details yet. But i suspect you would need speical lcd monitor to view the 3D contents.

about gfx
It seems the device will get nVidia 425M graphics core according to German hardwareluxx.de:
http://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php...ce-gt425m.html and according to electronista.com: http://www.electronista.com/articles...asus.notebook/ , the same core will be shared with another lower end nVidia 400M platform product which should be coming on September the 13th. So hopefully we are really soon going to see the ASRock HTPC Vision 3D in stores :-) *UPDATE* While searching further I found this benchmark from notebookcheck.net: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-...M.34152.0.html , click the "More Details" and "Show comparison chart" in the bottom of that page right after the specs table. |
