Will this RAM work with this MB?

Hello, I'm planning a build with the ASROCK Z77 extreme 4 MB and I just bought a Kingston stick because it was on clearance ($34!) it's model number is KHX1600C9D3B1/4G. However when I got home and checked for compatibility this RAM isn't listed on either Asrock or Kingstons website. I don't understand why it isn't compatible. I'm guess it just wasn't tested? Here is it's specs:
DDR3
1600mhz
240 pin
1.65V
Non-ECC unbuffered
CL9
9-9-9-27

Thanks for any feedback. I'm trying to figure this out so I can return it if needed.

Nothing special about that ram, it should run just fine. I run 4 sticks of it in my system at 1666 9-9-9-24 1T 1.65V.
