Default Game Blaster doesn't detect jack as needed.

Hi

I bought my self yesterday a 5.1 Headset from Roccat, the Kave. It is a really nice thing if you want to play Battlefield in 5.1.

But thats not all I want to do, I also want to be able to talk in Teamspeak while I play BF4. But I am not able because Game Blaster doesn't lets me choose 5.1 Surround + Micro.

Or I am maybe to stupid to know how to set it up. I have tried different versions and combinations but it didn't work.

The only things that I am able to choose from are:

-7.1 EX Surround
-5.1 Surround
-Stereo & Line-In
-Stereo & Micro

Well I want to use the 5.1 Surround + Micro but I am not able to set it up that way.

What I saw is that Creative uses for the own Sound Cards a Multi Purpose device(Jack) that can be set as Front or Rear Micro, but Game Blaster from Asrock can't. It actually works but as long as I am using the Blue Jack in Stereo+Mic as a Mic, but as long as I try to use it in 5.1 Settings, no chance.

Realtek also allows users to set the Jacks as they want or need them, but I can't do that with Game Blaster.....

Can you guys give me any hints or any solutions to my Problem?

Try Razor Synapse 2.0, I've been using it tonight for simulated 7.1 with my headphones.

Well thanks for the answer, but this ain't the answer I actually search for.

Well it isn't a bad idea but I bought a 5.1 Headset so that I can hear everything as I need. That's the reason I bought it, because it isn't virtual surround.

It apparently can't be used that way with the Asrock software. Rather strange! What is you operating system? Have you tried using the Game Blaster with Windows driver? I don't know, but perhaps Windows doesn't have a driver for that card.
An alternative would be to use the onboard sound rather that the Game Blaster.

You might get lucky and force a Sound Blaster driver to work off the support.creative.com site. It would have to be a manual install I'm sure as the auto detect software would not find any compatible devices.

Exactly thats the problem....

Well the Game Blaster has come with the Asrock X79 Extreme 9, and it is a great piece of hardware, but the problem is that I am not able to set the Jacks as I need.

Well I tried different things and drivers but I haven't found any that could be compatible with.

Still unsure what to do....
