虽然之前也有传闻说AMD公司并没有进入Netbook CPU 市场的计划，但是来自APC Magazine的最新报道，AMD公司将会于本周推出Netbook CPU 。 据APCMagazine的介绍，新的CPU将会聚焦于两个方面，一个是视频播放性能另一个就是电池寿命。报道中称AMD公司计划实现8-9小时的电池续航时间，如果这一计划最终实现的话，那么就将会意味着AMD的Netbook CPU 产品在功耗控制方面要优于Intel公司的Atom处理器。
