Computex Day 2
Coverage After a hectic Monday, we are as busy as usual, trying to arrange and reschedule our meetings with our various PR contacts. It looks like I was too over ambitious to interview them all within an hour :) Thanks to the delays at the registration booth. Tuesday is an exciting day for us. We visited ABIT's factory and in the afternoon we will return to the exhibition hall in the afternoon. In the evening, we will be heading to VIA's party and also EPoX gathering. The schedule is really packed! I woke up at around 7 am in the morning, without delay, I turned on the TV with a selection of over 70 channels to choose from. ngws and I went to our daily breakfast counter .. well, he likes Macdonalds a lot as I can see. After which, we took a cab straight to the Hyatt Regency and wait for the ABIT representatives to bring us to the ABIT factory located 1 hr drive outside Taipei. At around 8.45am, we haven't seen anyone yet. We waited till 9am but we could only see a few people chit chatting at the main lobby. I decided to make a call but found that there is no roaming network available, I think the number of base stations for roaming accounts are definitely not enough to serve the large amount of international visitors. At last I managed to contact them and met up with the rest of the visitors to ABIT's factory. Guess who we met ? Well, it's none other than Mr. tweak of Tweaktown. We exchanged name cards and chatted about the future of websites. |
