2themax 8KHA (1) You might not have heard of 2themax. In fact, it's a popular brand in Hong Kong. JDR Digital Technologies Ltd is the people behind 2themax. If you happen to visit Hong Kong, you would probably see that 2themax is sold everywhere. It is indeed a well known brand over there. To those of you who finds it strange to see the model name 8KHA, well you have probably guessed it. 2themax 8KHA is in fact OEMed from EPoX. 2themax is also one of EPoX beta sites to test out their new products. So much about 2themax, now let's get on with the review. 2themax 8KHA is probably one of the first VIA KT266 boards to hit the HK market. To date, it has received a lot of awards & recommendations by the Hong Kong media. While most of the reviews are in Chinese, we are the first to bring you a review of the 2themax EP-8KHA in English. Although 8KHA is a bit late to hit the market, it's better to launch something that is well done than a buggy product.
Since 2themax targets the Hong Kong market, most of the instructions are in Chinese. They do provide an English edition of the manual for customers outside Hong Kong. In a separate booklet, you can find FAQ on how to go about how to go about troubleshooting your system. Well, this is definitely useful for those first timers DIYers. Packaging Let's take a look at package below. Two CDROMs consisting of Norton Anti-virus and companion softwares and the other is the drivers CDROM. FDD, HDD cables and a 2 port USB expansion port is provided in the package.
