ASUS iPanel Basic

Introduction

More and more companies are coming up with their own solutions to monitor the status of the mainboard. Asus released the iPanel Basic quite some time ago and it is targeted towards the DIY crowd.

So, what does iPanel Basic do? Basically, ASUS iPanel provides easy and convenient connectivity to I/O devices such as USB and POST diagnostic. It slots into a spare 5.25" drive bay and includes a software which you could personalise the usr-configurable hotkeys.

Below is a screen shot of the package. It comes standard with the iPanel, a user guide, 2 diskettes and 2 cables (1 for USB and 1 for panel connection).
