EPoX 8KHA (1) Yes, it's a long break and we are now back to review the latest mainboards. In fact, this board was brought back from Taiwan and we nearly could not get it through customs. Anyway, EPoX 8KHA is the KT266 solution that continues the VIA KT133a series from the days of the EPoX 8KTA3. For the past months, we have seen that most manufacturers held back their KT266 offerings and learnt a lesson of not rushing into the market. Looks like EPoX is one of those who waited and ensure a mainboard that is free of bugs. So much said, let's take a look at the packaging. Packaging A change over from the silvery spacey nice packaging, the EPoX 8KHA goes for the traditional. Instead of the bright yellow, they changed it to the blue/white combination. I like icy cool colours though. I look through the manual and found that it is more comprehensive than before. The manual is very professionally done. It's a pity that it's only available in English. . |
