was one of the first brands to compete directly with the ABIT BX boards in terms
of overclockability.
This is the first board we received from SOYO
featuring the PM133 chipset. Well, what is VIA PM133 chipset?
The VIA ProSavage™ PM133 combines the
market-leading VIA Apollo Pro133A chipset with the winning S3®
Savage4™ 3D and S3® Savage2000™ 2D graphics engines to set the
new industry benchmark for integrated chipset scalability and performance in
Value PC systems.
 The
VIA ProSavage PM133 is the first integrated chipset to offer true performance
and upgradability by providing an advanced S3® Savage4™ 3D and S3®
Savage2000™ 2D graphics core and an optional AGP interface. Combining advanced
PC133, 133MHz FSB and ATA-66 technologies with the rich 2D/3D graphics
capabilities of the S3® Savage4™ AGP4X and S3® Savage2000™ 2D graphics
core, the VIA ProSavage PM133 redefines the integrated chipset standard for
value desktops, notebooks and internet appliances.
It is also one of the possible solutions to
counter Intel's integrated chipset, the i815E which features similar
