Transcend TS-AKT4 Part
1 Background Since 1988, Transcend Information, Inc. has grown into one of the world's top manufacturers of memory products and motherboards. Transcend was one of the first memory manufacturers in the world to achieve ISO-9001 certification for its production. The company's 2000+ range of products includes memory modules for every application, and cutting edge motherboards that have won rave reviews in the computer press. Transcend has always been a memory manufacturing company. Instead of just making memory modules, Transcend also started to manufacture mainboards for Channels and OEM market. They have made in roads into the mainboard market with new boards being released now and then to cater for different markets. Introduction TS-AKT4 is the first Socket A board Transcend released in August 2000. Lets take a look at what Transcend have to offer in the picture below :
Inside the nicely packaged black coloured paper box, you can find the standard floppy and ATA66 cables. It also comes with a 2 port external USB device. A standard support CDROM with all the drivers. A very brief manual which illustrates the different functions is also in the package. |
