Singtel acquires Iphone deal, available in Singapore by year end

Singapore Telecommunications Ltd., Bharti Airtel Ltd., Globe Telecom Inc. and SingTel subsidiary Optus said they have signed an agreement with Apple Inc. to offer the iPhone in their respective markets later this year.
SingTel will sell the phone in Singapore, Bharti Airtel in India, Globe Telecom in the Philippines and Optus in Australia. No financial terms were disclosed. SingTel holds a 30.5% stake in Bharti and 44.5% in Globe, and it owns Optus.
Bharti currently has about 64 million subscribers, while Globe reported a 21.3 million mobile subscriber base for the quarter ended March 31. SingTel had about 2.3 million mobile subscribers in Singapore and around 7 million in Australia as of Dec. 31.
Apple has said the iPhone will start selling in Asia this year. The company recently moved away from signing exclusive deals with a single carrier in a market. Vodafone Group PLC has said it will offer the iPhone in additional markets, including Australia, later this year.

Microsoft already release Windows XP Services Pack 3(SP3) file for user to get it from download center, or users can update it by running WinUpdate! According to Microsoft news, XP SP3 fix lots of problem. However, there are some user complain that it cause problem on some AMD base PC, especially on OEM machines, like HP, etc.
According to information from other website, following phenomena
will be casue after installed XP SP3
1. Base on AMD Base PC, especially OEM machine, like HP. Comptuer can enter windows in safe mode.
2A. After installed SP3, Computer always get Reboot(cant load)
or computer will show some STOP Code/0x0000007e Code
when loading at normal mode!
2B. Computer shows "Problem was detected and windows has been shut down to protect your computer from damage. The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant " when loading
2C. Show 0x00000024 Code!
There are some NON-OFFICIAL solutions provided by webpages.
User must take risk on it.
if user found that your computer is shown 2A phenomenon, maybe this is caused by a file named "intelppm.sys" in windows folder. This file is used for Intel CPU, in AMD CPU, amdk8.sys will work at same function. So user need to disable on this intelppm.sys!
If user found on 2B/C, maybe user need to uninstall Ati Catalyst Driver, and try to add usb flash/ second storage device.
Above solutions are provided by non-offical. user need to take risk on it. Moreover, you can go through following task for seeking solutions.

The next generation of Chipset and CPU is leaked by Intel. Code Name of CPU is Bloomfield, and Chipset is X58!
Bloomfield contains lots of new spec and features, following are some details:
1. it is a 4 Cores CPU, support 8 Threads, 45NM, and use LGA1366 Socket
2 8 MB Share Cache!
3. Support IMC(Integrated Memory Controller) and 3 Channel DDR3 RAM!
4. Support QPI and add 7 more SSE4 Instructions.
About the Chipset, X58 support Bloomfield!
X58 Support LGA1366 Socket, and it supports a more flexilbility setting on PCI-E configuration, it can set dual X16 or Quad X8 mode on PCi-E.
Computex 2008 MCP7A B1 stepping delivers this weekend

On may 16 , NVIDIA will deliver it's B1 stepping sample of it's long delayed MCP7A chipset. This product shall be one of the highlights at the Computex 2008 show in June.
From what we gathered, static boards would be shown as it is said that there are still issues like ram compatibiliy is still a ptoblem on the current revisions of the chipset.
It is also known that actual production of the chipset will be at the end of June. Thus, we wouldn't be seeing the final MCP 7A products at least until late June or July onwards.
The MCP 7A is the most powerful IGP for the Intel platform ( in comparison with Intel G35).

As Computex is drawing nearer, lots of manufacturers are betting on this event to showcase their P45 boards.
Unfortunately, Intel deliver orders based on support and order level. Thus, 2nd tier manufacturers are bound to lose out as their order would never match the 1st tier.
From what we gathered, both ASUS and Gigabyte are already fine tuning their boards and will be ready to send samples for media reviews real soon.
2nd tier manufacturers have yet to receive the A2 stepping of the chipsets and would only get theirs in the coming week.
If you can wait, you will be able to see very interesting models from all manufacturers.

With more integrated chipsets being made for the new AMD and Intel processors, NVIDIA is also ready to challenge the two giants with their MCP 80 series of Integrated chipsets.
Currently there aren't much detail information of the upcoming MCP 80 series. We expect it to be for new architectures that feature INTEL CPU with an integrated memory controller built in. MCP 80 series should support technologies like purevideo and hybrid SLI.
We will post more information when we get them.

Intel already sell their Core 2 Duo E6x00 and E8x00 series before. Today we found that there is a Shop in Hongkong, which quoted the price for newest CPU E7200!
According to Intel information, Core 2 Duo E7200 is a 45nm Dual Core CPU, Speed is 2.53GHZ, Only got FSB1066 and 3MB L2 Cache! About the feature support, E7200 Support EM64T, Enhanced Halt State(C1E), etc. however, it is NOT support Intel VT(Virtualization Technology) !
E7200's Price is HKD1108, Around USD 143Dollars!

Few months ago, S3 announce Chrome 4300E for Embedded System, providing DX10.1 and Low consumption GPU on this kind of system. Now S3 also announce another one, 2300E!
Chrome 2300E is another GPU for Embedded System, it just supports DX9c and OpenGL 1.5, moreover, it can works without fan.
however, its Hi-Def Programmable Video Engine just provide WMV9-HD and MPEG2-HD acceleration only.

From what we gathered, AMD might not be showcasing their new RV770 cards at computex. No reasons were given for the decision.
We suspect that there might still be problems with chipset or drivers. Perhaps some companies will put up static displays of the cards with no running demos eventually.

In china website, Zol, they leaked some photos for the ASL mainboard, which is used Intel P43 Chipset!
Model name is P43T, there are no more information about P43 Chipset(Intel do not announce yet), however, there are some features can found on this mainboard.
For example, P43T Support DDR2 RAM, Six SATA2 port, HD AUDIO and SPDIF out port. However, we dont know whether it support CrosssFire or not.

Today Asus announce a new graphic card, which are very special and unique. The Model of the card is MA3850M!
Asus MA3850M is a special card, which is designed by Asus. MA3850M brings lots of new features. First, the length of MA3850M is 17cm, much shorter than other Reference PCB HD3850 (~23cm). Second, MA3850M is used Mobility Radeon 3850 GPU! Third, MA3850M is integrated with a Asus Splendid HD Processor, Improving images quality but no affect CPU loading!
MA3850M use Mobility Radeon 3850 GPU, Speed is 668MHZ. There are 512MB GDDR3 256bit, the speed of ram is 1.65GHZ! On the card, there are one DVI-D and one DVI-I port.
According to Asus information , MA3850M run 3Dmark 06 get 10478, faster than other reference HD3850 around 27%!

We reported that WIndows XP Service Pack 3 and Vista Service Pack 1 are available in WindowUpdate and Microsoft Download Center, however, there is a compability issue between XP SP3 / Vista SP1 with RMS!
According to Microsoft TechNet Forum, there is a article about on it. It worte that there is a compability issue, between Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) and XP SP3/ Vista SP1!
Microsoft is still underworking on a fix, it maybe available on this month.
In this moment, Micorosft is not suggest user to install XP SP3/ Vista SP1 on computer which is installed Dynamic RMS.

Microsoft released the Windows XP Service Pack 3(SP3) standalone installer on their Download Center.
User can go to their website for download it. There are many different language of SP3 provided by microsoft, like Simpified Chinese, Tradtion Chinese, English, Japanese, French, Russian, etc.

Asus EEEPC got a successful business in special marketing, they try to sell small, portable and low cost notebook. In china, there is a manufacturer, they are also producing similar notebook
In China, Yinlips Digital Tech. post a product in their mainsite, it is called MicroPC. It just similar with EEEPC, it own a 7" LCD monitor and a keyboard, like a notebook, it's model YDP-G77.
YDP-G77 is a 7" LCD notebook, it uses a 400MHZ CPU, however we didnot know what CPU is inside. Moreover, it use flash memory instread of harddisk, there are 500MB/1G space.
YDP-G77 use Linux system, it intergrated a lot of function/software, like paint brush, pdf reader, dictionary, player, browser etc.
However yinlips didnot metnion how much is it.

According to the forum news in futuremark, they will release the hotfix for 3Dmark Vantage soon, maybe on nextweek.
About the hofix, they dont mention too much on it, whatever which kind of bugs will be fixed. futuremark wrote that ver of 3Dmark Vantage will be upgraded to 1.0.1, and there is no affect on score after user install hotfix.

ECS announced new mainboard, which are using newest Chipset from Intel!
One is used X48, another one is used P45!
First mainboard is used X48+ICH9R Chipset, model is X48T-A! It supports FSB1600/1333/1066/800 Processors, include Quad/Dual/Single Core (Yorkfield and Wolfdale are supported). Moreover, X48T-A support DDR3-1600 memory(MAX 8GB).
On X48T-A, there are lots of Expansion Slot and function, it includes
