Benchmarking

We conduct the a number of tests on the setup with the following configuration :

Test System:

  • Intel Pentium 4 2.8
  • Shuttle AS45GTR SiS 648 mainboard running DDR333 Async mode CAS 2, 2-2-5
  • Maxtor D740X-6L ATA133 7200RPM
  • AOPEN 40X CDROM 
  • Gigabyte GV-R9700pro ATi drivers 6.13.1.6143
  • Chaintech GF4 Ti4600 w/ Detonator 40.41
  • Corsair 512MB XMS3200 DDR400 module
  • Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

There is no doubt again that R9700 Pro leads even when it is in Hi Quality mode. The only exception is when it is using Optimal Quality (Optimal Quality = 4X AA + 16X AF). If you compared to Ti4600 4xAA + 8x AF, it scores 58.6. The highest quality R9700Pro vs the highest quality of Ti4600 and the difference is quite a big difference of 112%!!! We are talking abt comparing 4x AA + 16X AF to 4XAA + 8x AF
