Overclocker 22 Mar 2002

BIOS screen shots

The BIOS we used in our tests are based on 13 Mar 2002 AK35S922 BIOS. Below is a boot up screen of our setup.

This is probably the only board that allows Vcore to be adjustable up to a high of 1.10v ~ 2.30v. The first range is from 1.10v ~ 1.85v, the other range 1.85v ~ 2.30v is selectable when we choose Above 1.85v option from the settings.

CPU Ratio is selectable from 5.5x ~ 12.5x. DDR voltage is selectable too from 2.5v, 2.55, 2.60, 2.70v. CPU Clock is adjustable from 133 ~ 200Mhz at 1Mhz stepping.

To set up the system to run at it's optimum performance, we set DRAM Clock to 166 Mhz for async operation. DRAM Timing to MANUAL.  We set 4 bank way interleaving on, ram timings of 2,5,2,8,4 and 1T cmd is enabled.

AGP Aperture Size is set to 128MB. AGP 4X, AGP fast write is turned on in our test for optimum AGP performance.

Looks like the Shuttle AK35GTR v2.2 has one of the most options for you to tweak your machine to perform at it's peak.
