Benchmarks

Q3 demo benchmark results are pretty good and is comparable to a AMD 64 3400+ running a 9800XT.

In Comanche 4, we tested the aspects of Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering. The following charts the frame rate you can get when AF and AA is turned on in two different situations - 8xS,16xAF and 2xQ,4xAF.

Using the best AF+AA, we are getting 42.6fps which is still acceptable.

Newer games like DOOM 3 gives a clearer picture of the performance levels of this card. When we overclock it, we see a jump to 75.5fps from 61.8 at default core/memory speed. That is a gain of 22%.

In our AF/AA tests, at the maximum combination, the frame rate drops to 15.8 which makes the game a bit slow. The best is to adjust it to 2xQ, 4x AF. That would be better.
