After a long wait, ABIT delivers its much anticipated NF4 based mainboard - ABIT FATAL1TY AN8. AN8 is powered by the single overclocking friendly chipset NVIDIA® nForce4 Ultra chipset, which supports the latest and greatest 939-pin AMD Athlon 64/64FX CPUs. AN8 inherits the goods of the NF4 Ultra chipset delivering fast performance with support of industry leading technologies the NVIDIA Gigabit Ethernet provides the highest network throughput with the lowest CPU utilization. Integrated NVIDIA SATA RAID delivers RAID 0, 1, 0+1, and JBOD for excellent storage flexibility, and a 3GBb/s transfer rate doubles bus bandwidth and provides blazingly high disk performance. NVIDIA Firewall protects your PC from intruders by filtering unauthorized traffic with instant-on capabilities. With the NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra chipset as a base, the Fatal1ty AN8 gives gamers both performance and peace of mind. On top of all these, it also supports Firewire connectivity.

As it is a overclocking friendly board, ABIT introduces the Dual OTES cooling system which uses twin fans and heat duct to extract heat out of the case. Heatsinks are also attached to the MOSFETS to cool down the system thus improved the stability throughout. OTES RAMFlow™ is a clip on attachment for your DDR modules. With this attachment, it cools down the DDR modules making the system more stable and extends the life of your ram module.
