From the results, it can be seen that the
module performs almost the same way when run in CAS 3 or CAS 5 mode when in
DDR2-800.
In fact, it seems better to run in the SPD
mode than to force it down to CAS 3 with only 1.7% improvement. With memory
modules that can reach DDR2-800 and above, CAS latency plays a lesser role
in determining the performance.
So, if you intend to purchase DDR2-800
modules today, the modules will most likely be able to go beyond the rated
DDR2-800 to probably DDR2-1066.
As for 1T cmd, most modules will have
difficulty to go above the CAS 4,4-4-4-1T at 808MHz at 2.2v for this module. |
