The board comes with 3 PCI, 2x PCIe x1, 2 x PCIex8 or 1 x PCIe x 16. The white PCIe slot can be configured to work in single card mode of PCIe x16 or run it in a dual 8x mode with the red PCIe slot by setting the black jumpers located between the two PCIe slots.

The power on board is based on a 3 phase design. Behind the slots are I/O controller chip, audio codec and at the centre you will see the Realtek Fast Ethernet Ethernet PHY. On the left is the Realtek ALC888 7.1 HD Audio codec (The 939SLI-eSATA2 uses ALC 660 5.1 audio codec).

Further down to the left, you will see the 4 SATA II ports, 2 IDE channels supported by the ULi 1697 single chipset. Next to it is the ULI M1697 Single K8 chipset. It is mounted with a passive heatsink. The back panel consists of PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse,1 COM port, 2 eSATA2 ports, 4 USB ports, 1 Fast and 7.1ch audio ports.

Below are pictures of the AM2XLI-eSATA2 board versus the 939SLI-eSATA2. They look similar except the Socket, DDR slot and the absense of CPU_upgrade_port.
