Introduction
ECS NFORCE 570 SLIT-A
V5.1 is the
updated version that supports the new Conroe 1066FSB processors. Based on the NF
570 SLI chipsets which comes in a duo NF4 SLI SPP north bridge + MCP 430
southbridge chipset.
This mainboard supports LGA775 socket
for latest Intel Core 2 Duo / Pentium D / Pentium 4 / Celeron D processor FSB
1066/800/533 MHz. It supports Dual-channel DDR2 memory architecture with 4 x
240-pin DDR2 DIMM socket support up to 16GB. Memory supported is DDR2 533/667
DDR SDRAM.
The board comes with 2 PCIe x 8 slots. When in SLI mode, it will run in Dual 8x
mode (single PCI-E is x8 mode). There are two other PCIe x 1 and 3 PCI slots.
The south bridge supports 4 x Ultra
DMA133/100/66 devices, 4 x Serial ATA devices and can be configured to run in
RAID0, RAID1, RAID0+1, RAID5 configuration. There is also 8 ch hd audio using
the Realtek ALC883 codec. Built on board is a GbE using Marvell 88E1116
controller.
The board we have does not come with the
optional Realtek RTL8100C 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Controller and IEEE 1394a
VIA 6307 support 2 x IEEE1394a ports
