Futuremark 3DMark2005 (1024x768x32)

Using the 2 cards having a similar core, we compared the speed of both cards on the same board ASrock 939Dual-SATA2 that supports both interfaces natively. For AGP, ULi integrated 2.13 or later must be installed.

The system is configured to run at CAS 2, 6-2-2,1T cmd with 2 X512 Corsair TWINX modules.

In the chart below, you can see that the X1600XT, a 256M PCIe card runs at a default of 587/693 for core/mem clk. The X1600 Pro is clk at 500/405. We were able to overclock it up to 630/450. We get a 13% increased in performance.

We tried to overclock the ram further but it seems that 450MHz is the maximum we can go. The core could still go higher to 640 but it is unstable at that speed.
