The board comes with 3 PCI, 2 PCIe x 1 and 1 PCIe x16 slot. On the top left corner of the board, you will see the Realtek HD audio Codec and GbE controller chip. There is also a yellow colour HDMI/SPDIF connector for routing onboard audio to your HDMI graphics card. The two red connectors are for connecting front and back 1394 connectors. To its right, we can see the 20 pin power connector, a 4 phase power design is spotted. Right behind it is the red, orange eSATA connectors (to be connected via SATA cable to the SATA connectors at the bottom left of the mainboard.

Near the PCIe x16 slot is the TI 1394 chip responsible for the 1394 connectors (via brackets). Right below the 3 PCI slot is the NF520 singe chipset supporting the SATAII RAID, IDE, USB functions. There are also 4 USB connectors for external bracket connection to support 8 more USB ports (2 USB boards already found on back panel). To its right is 4 DIMMs supporting up to a Maximum of 16GB of DDR2-533/667/800 memory.

On the back panel, you will find the PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, LPT1 port, VGA out, COM1, eSATAII ports, 2 USB, 1Gbe and the 7.1 ch audio ports.

 

The DVI Graphics-HDCP add on card provided Free in the package. This card uses the SiliconImage chipset to support DVI-HDCP. This card is to be plugged into the PCIe slot of the mainboard.
