Samsung Omnia II

Samsung Omnia II is the latest innovation from Samsung. It inherits the best of experience from Omnia and upsize it with a better, larger and more responsive touch screen.

Building on the success of the Omnia, the Samsung Omnia II provides smartphone users with an excellent array of applications to enhance their multimedia experience.

The Omnia II provides unbeatable screen clarity through its 3.7-inch AMOLED display which has an advanced R-type touch screen, enabling a faster, more accurate response for a user-friendly touch experience. Equipped with a 5-megapixel camera and DVD-like (480p) video recording and playback, users can shoot and edit their digital images by utilising the in-suite video editing application.

It's interface looks like the Samsung Jet. It uses TouchWiz 2.0 UI with mobile widget. it also incorporates the 3D Media Gate for instant access to various applications like Internet, games, videos, pictures, contacts etc.

With the high-powered HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps and Wi-Fi capabilities, users of the Omnia II will experience smooth internet browsing and quick content download on-the-go. With ability to store up to 8GB and 32GB of internal and external memory respectively, users will have unlimited access to their favourite videos and web content.

It will also be updateable to Windows Mobile® 6.5.
