Benchmarking

Before we benchmark, we document the FSB the board is running at. Below is a chart that shows the FSB (default by BIOS) for the 10 boards we use in this review :

 

Although FSB can be very little, the difference in benchmarks obtained can vary quite a lot even if there is 1 MHz of difference in the FSB.

From the chart below, we can see that the two Dual Channel DDR boards scores around 3356/3352. In fact, the difference between the two are so close that it is difficult to differentiate. Something that you might be interested to know is that, both boards surpassed the RIMM4200 solution in this category. Does this turn out to be a cheap alternative with better performance to the RIMM4200? Let's see.
