ASUS P4T533 i850E Gallery (2)
Overclocker 19 June 2002

The Mainboard

Slightly different from previous designs as the RIMM 4200 do not need to be in pairs. C-RIMM is still needed if only one piece of RIMM4200 is used.

6 PCI slots, 1 AGP Pro slot. Cmedia 6 channel audio chipset.

The Socket 478 for the Pentium 4 processor. Next to it is the ATX +12v power supply connector. The odd placement makes it difficult for users to plug the connector in/out.

The i850E north bridge beneath the heatsink.  The connector labelled Ez-plug allows the use of  existing power supply instead of having to buy a new dedicated ATX 2.03 PSU  Thanks to ASUS patented EZ-plug technology for making it possible.

The RAID controller using Promise ATA-133 RAID chipset.

Below are screen shots of the Promise ATA-133 PDC20276 chipset and NEC USB 2.0 supporting chipset.

The EZ-plug (4 pin connector) close up shot.
