  • AOPEN 40X CDROM
  • ECS Xabre 400 AG4008-64
  • MSI Geforce3 Ti200 Graphics card w/Detonator driver 29.42
  • Winbond DDR333 512MB DDR
  • Channelwell 375W AMD Approved PSU

Quake 3 Demo 1

Quake3 is probably the one of the most important software to be used for testing graphics cards. In our test, we ran the test at least 3 times to obtain a stable sustained result. In our chart, we compared the ECS Xabre 400 card vs the MSI GF3 Ti200. The board is set to maximum attainable speeds at CAS 2, 2-2-5 ram timings. The AGP aperture size is set to 128MB.

We ran the demo 001 at 800x600x32, 1024x768x32 and 1280x1024x32 and the results are on the graph. Looks like the Xabre 400 doesn't disappoint our expectation. It shows that it is much better than the MX440 and it is on par with the GF3 Ti200. Looks like we have a serious competitor here.
