Enabling the backlit by double pressing the button behind the Treo 180. The backlight is pretty good under normal extremely dark conditions too. 

Most of the applications that are available on the Treo are similar to those on other PDAs. We have calculator, calendar, scheduler, expense, world time etc.

The Treo180 comes with a little keyboard. There are 4 short cut keys which you could easily access the phone, calendar, web and sms as indicated by the icons on the buttons below.

To type the character in Blue, depress the blue button on the left followed by the key (e.g. numerics). On the right most next to numeric 0 is the application launcher which you will most likely use to access the applications.

Below is a screen shot of the SMS we received. You can compose SMS using the keyboard.
